MAN's Saturday Matinee: Drostle & Sergeev
Break out the popcorn. It's MAN's Saturday Matinee and we have got a couple of shorts to share.
First up is Gary Drostle's wonderful video of his latest installation receiving an authentic Roman blessing, complete with owl. Edgars Field Park in Chester is the setting for this work, intended to reflect on the park's rich heritage including the presence of a Roman shrine to Minerva.

Next is a video about Russian born artist Ruslan Sergeev whose large-scale, creature-filled mosaic playgrounds bring out the child in everyone. The artist now resides in Israel and works closely with that country's Ministries of Housing and Tourism and other government agencies to use mosaics to enliven outdoor environments. And they are lively!

Great videos, Nancie. How delightful Sergeev's work is.
