Listen Up! Emma Biggs with George Fishman This Sunday -- and After

This Sunday, George Fishman will broadcast a fascinating interview with mosaic artist, author, teacher and Exhibition in Print juror Emma Biggs.

 Rill, Emma Biggs

The interview, in addition to others with Sonia King, Jo Braun, JeanAnn Dabb, Jennifer Lewis and myself, is part of a build-up for a panel discussion he will moderate at SAMA's Mosaic Summit in Austin this February: "Defining Mosaic Art:  Who cares and why?"

Tide, Emma Biggs

It's a good question.  And leave it to George to be the one to pose it, put together an accomplished and respected group of people to nosh on it, and then make sure that folks who won't be able to attend the conference can still listen to the panelists anytime via archived editions of his BlogTalk radio show, Mosaic of Art

Five Sisters  Emma Biggs and Matthew Collings

Says George:  "Fans of Emma's wisdom, charm and opinions have an opportunity to hear her describe her artistic journey. Tune in on Sunday 3-4pm EST."

To get a taste of what is in store on Sunday, there is a clip from the interview with Emma talking about finding her voice on George's 5 Minute Take Out site, another treasure trove of art voices.  You'll also find Take Outs with Marian Shapiro, Eric Rattan and Sonia King and many others.

Also on Sunday, George will be talking with Jim Bowen about the National Mosaic Exhibition on Cape Cod slated for this July.  www.nationalmosaicexhibition.com/
