1) The Brigadoon of Mosaics --American Mosaic Summit in Chicago March 17 - 21. Annual conference and vendor show at the Palmer House plus a juried exhibit on view at the Navy Pier. MAN will have a booth at the Vendor Show which will be open to the public Fri. March 19 10:30 - 2:00 pm and Sat. March 20 9:00 - 2:00. Stop by and say hello!

3) The Baronness Carrie von Reichardt -- Craftivist, potter, mosaic artist, instigator, and leader of The Treatment Rooms in London. She and her cohorts from The Treatment Rooms are currently creating "Phoolan", one of 250 elephants that will be part of the Elephant Parade May, June, and July. Sotheby's will auction the sculptures to raise money for elephant conservation projects.
